Since the 7th October 2023 Labour has had ample opportunity to bring forward a debate and motion on a ceasefire in Gaza. Yet, the Speaker deemed it more important to have their Amendment taken on SNP Opposition Day. My Point of Order on the Speaker's Statement last night 👇

@AlanBrownSNP Really good Point of Order at the end of the debate Alan. Unfortunately the scenes in the Commons were unedifying and a shambles. Surely there can be little confidence in Speaker Hoyle now.

The only upside of today's shambles is that at least it now seems there is a consensus of sorts that an immediate ceasefire really is required in Gaza.
