We would never realise the power of web 3, crypto and blockchain for now. But in the next 5 years or more, we would apperciate it. And I can't wait till then. Imagine paying for an item or anything just via connecting your wallet address and paying. No middleman involved. $CORE

When a user tried to buy $50M worth of AAVE through the Aave interface and received 324 AAVE (99.9% of the funds vanished to slippage): - @Aave says it will return the protocol fee (~$600K). - MEV bots that captured the rest say nothing. Moments like this make you wonder: do we really need #DeFi to be this complicated? On rabbit.io, swaps work differently - even for very large amounts. And in Fixed Rate mode there is no slippage at all.
Stani.eth@StaniKulechov

Earlier today, a user attempted to buy AAVE using $50M USDT through the Aave interface. Given the unusually large size of the single order, the Aave interface, like most trading interfaces, warned the user about extraordinary slippage and required confirmation via a checkbox. The user confirmed the warning on their mobile device and proceeded with the swap, accepting the high slippage, which ultimately resulted in receiving only 324 AAVE in return. The transaction could not be moved forward without the user explicitly accepting the risk through the confirmation checkbox. The CoW Swap routers functioned as intended, and the integration followed standard industry practices. However, while the user was able to proceed with the swap, the final outcome was clearly far from optimal. Events like this do occur in DeFi, but the scale of this transaction was significantly larger than what is typically seen in the space. We sympathize with the user and will try to make a contact with the user and we will return $600K in fees collected from the transaction. The key takeaway is that while DeFi should remain open and permissionless, allowing users to perform transactions freely, there are additional guardrails the industry can build to better protect users. Our team will be investigating ways to improve these safeguards going forward.

In 2020/2021 I had Facebook live sessions Many times ,trying to educate people about zuga coin. Some told me I was a “Church hater” Some said I was “Bishop hater” There was nothing I didn’t hear 🤣 They said it was created to end poverty for God’s people . When I did my analysis I told them, this coin is a community token. It doesn’t have any footprint on the blockchain. Infact it wasn’t listed on any exchange even though they do Abracadabra on coin market cap too move the charts and lure more people in,people didn’t listen. I came to my premium group and explained how this was a scam token. Told them, you can’t sell that thing after buying so don’t buy. No liquidity, don’t buy. I explain tire without evidence. Someone in my groups sent a dm and said his friend adviced him to leave everything else and buy Zuga(The lords coin). He came to seek my advice. I told him to ignore the guy and buy TWT and Bake ,he ignored and bought Zuga. Few months later,he came to me and said he lost 3m on Zuga coin,I told him Sorry ,God will help you recover your loss. I don’t know where that community is right now , but I must confess, they were good with marketing. Every major express in Ph had that Zuga advert all over it.

Kazakhstan’s central bank set aside $350M to invest in crypto. That does not mean buying Bitcoin. This is about shares of tech companies connected to the crypto industry. I like how Kazakhstan’s law defines cryptocurrencies: "unbacked digital assets." Simple, but it highlights the key distinction. Bitcoin and similar assets are not the same as stablecoins or tokenized RWA backed by something. And now Kazakhstan’s central bank is showing everyone that buying crypto is not really an investment. It is a purchase - or an exchange (for example, swapping stablecoins for BTC or XMR on rabbit.io). An investment is when you fund a business and receive a stake in it. Crypto can be a tool for investing. But the assets themselves are still just unbacked digital assets.

Nigerian youths rock "My Oga at the Top" t-shirts, March 2013. Mr Shem Obafaiye's wife trademarked the word "My Oga at the Top" following her husband's popular interview on March 5, 2013. You could face legal action for using the words for commercial purposes. Tell us, did you rock these t-shirts? #HistoryVille

A Landlord wanted to sell his house because he was relocating, his tenant showed interest. They both verbally agreed on 55m, the tenant deposited 5m Naira, with the agreement that he would pay the balance subsequently. All verbal. Landlord travelled and handed over to his agent, months passed, and the tenant didn’t make more payments. A year passed, he didn’t pay his rent or pay for the house in full. 2 years 3years has passed no full payment no rent payment. The landlord decided he would sell the house to another buyer, the value of the house too has increased from 55m to 100m. Landlord said the tenant should pack out of the house while his 5m Naira covers for the rent unpaid. Tenant refused, that they already have an agreement, and that he won’t pay the new market price or the rent, because he already deposited. Tenant has now sued landlord to court. Who do you think has a higher chance of winning?

A Cointelegraph article revealed something unexpected about the Situational Awareness hedge fund. Several Bitcoin mining companies are among its key investments. Interesting - because lately the narrative says AI is pulling money away from crypto. An AI fund investing in Bitcoin miners sounds bullish… until you realize it may actually be a bet on miners pivoting to AI infrastructure. Which might mean big capital doesn't see much future in Bitcoin itself. Honestly, that might not be bad. Maybe #Bitcoin will finally be left to people who actually need it - those who want to hold their own money and send it wherever they choose, not wherever they are allowed.
