After listening to the the new @SinTheFields pod it seems obvious our 27th roster spot should be held for Tad next year. Someone has to make sure he can show up to only regionals with a cooler of beer, throw a few ill advised hammers, and drunkenly belittle a team beating us by 5

@being_ulti My experience as well, what was you evac focus, effectiveness of routes, level of response?

@FathomUltimate In our study, minorities were more likely to go to shelters than whites. The study & findings are available at sdmi.lsu.edu/resources/evac/

All of my work is applied, meaning I interact directly with communities and all of the work I do is intended to direct policy. i.e. my evacuation studies were sent to FEMA and the LA state government to provide contra flow info and info to provide more accessible shelters.
