@yoyoyo_0079 @lemonchidori The Japanese version is always very emotional, which is why I don't buy the English version but the Japanese one, as it's better in terms of emotion. But why does the English version say "I promise" while the Japanese version says "I won't leave you alone"? It's strange.
English

In vol 12, chap 46 of Nina, Nina says “STOP ME FOR GOOD,” and SetT says “I WON’T ABANDON YOU. YOU HAVE MY WORD.”
But in the JP ver, Nina simply says "殺してね=Kill me", and Sett says "一人にはしない=I won’t leave you alone"
The JP ver feels more serious—their resolve comes across with more weight and real determination.
日本語

I don't know why Azure's fans, both Arab and foreign, make it seem like Nina has no feelings for Sett and distort things even more. I really don't know; sometimes I find them superficial.

English

@lemonchidori @_hana_megumi @FayHey08 @yoyoyo_0079 From the beginning of the story until now, Sett has been a pillar of support for Nina because she has always relied on him, and I'm sure he will suggest to Nina that they face their destiny together, since Sett wants Nina's happiness.
English

@FatimaF40993 @_hana_megumi @FayHey08 @yoyoyo_0079 I have no idea what she will do nor what Sett will do. This is both very heavy for them. Plus there still is the bg/az problem too on Nina's shoulders. That's alot to carry for a 16 year old girl. She needs a rock to lean on rn....I hope Sett will deliver.
English

@lemonchidori @_hana_megumi @FayHey08 @yoyoyo_0079 If she can't make him happy, how can she stay away from him when she'll only cause him more grief? I don't think Nina will do that.
English

@FatimaF40993 @_hana_megumi @FayHey08 @yoyoyo_0079 She's afraid her curse will hurt him....I hope she doesn't do something stupid.
English

@lemonchidori @_hana_megumi @FayHey08 @yoyoyo_0079 I never saw them understand Nina's feelings, even when she said she couldn't make Sett happy. I hope Sett and Nina have a happy ending and we see their baby girl.
English

@FatimaF40993 @_hana_megumi @FayHey08 @yoyoyo_0079 they can't truly put their shoes in Nina's situation...she knows she has maybe little time left and Sett is that closest person that must "send her" off so she must feel numb inside thinking of this curse and what will do to them. She's barely holding it together.
English

@yoyoyo_0079 @lemonchidori They justify their behavior by distorting Nina's feelings. I feel they haven't believed the love triangle is over, and now we embark on Nina and Sett's journey to defy fate.
English

@FatimaF40993 @lemonchidori Probably because they’ve spent so long mocking the SettNina ship that now they need to justify their own behavior.

English

@lemonchidori @yoyoyo_0079 That's what I fear too, but Sett is different from Azure. If Sett sees Nina sad, he won't leave her; he'll stay with her, explain things to her, and suggest they face fate together for her happiness. That's why I'm confident my children will have a blast of emotions
English

@yoyoyo_0079 @FatimaF40993 I'm kinda of afraid she might push him away because she doesn't want to make him unhappy. I hope be will be strong next chapter. Az had time to digest this but he just heard it a day before...
English

@FatimaF40993 @kotora_1028 @moja_ko706 Looks like the translator didn’t do a great job—could you write that again, either in your language or in English?
English

@yoyoyo_0079 I also think so, since Nina told Sett in chapter 33, "I want to make you happy," and Nina will embark on a journey to defy fate in order to make Sett happy.
English

@FatimaF40993 Nina will likely end up fighting the fate set by the Star God to make Sett happy—
for the future of the two of them.
English

@yoyoyo_0079 Rikachi is a genius who knows everything, and I also saw the scene where Nina says Azure is her first love, but now she loves Sett. I understood that Nina loves Sett now, so the upcoming chapters will be about facing destiny.
English

@FatimaF40993 I think Rikachi deliberately avoids using “愛=love.”
But in other wording, Nina says that right now she has feelings for Sett, and that Az was her first love.
Feels like she’s basically telling the reader, “you can figure it out.”
English

@yoyoyo_0079 Thank you, I understand. But in my native Arabic language, it means the person I love; perhaps it has different meanings in Japanese.
English

@FatimaF40993 In Japanese, “taisetsu na hito” can refer to anyone—family, friends, even a mentor. In this scene, Nina does not say “the person I love.”
That is simply a fact.
English

@yoyoyo_0079 Yes, I understand you, but I don't mean the language, I mean the meaning, because a dear person means someone I love.
English

In Nina’s story, the Japanese expression “taisetsu na hito” is translated into various English words such as “important,” “beloved,” or “dear.” In this scene as well, the original Japanese simply says “taisetsu na hito,” and when translating into other languages, the choice of wording depends on the translator’s interpretation and sensibility. This is not something where the translator confirms the wording with the author; rather, it is left to the translator’s own judgment (not only in English, but in other languages as well).
Because of this, readers may perceive the scene somewhat differently depending on whether they read it in Japanese or in another language. In Japanese, this scene does not explicitly state “the person I love.”
However, there is also another scene where Nina says that she has realized she has feelings for Sett.
