@nuttylmao It was not. They were trying to pivot hard and find solutions, but the SL sale to Logitech made it impossible for them to compete. We were signing contracts with big streamers from SE for a ton of $.

As someone who worked for their competitor, it would have destroyed them quicker. There's a lot of horrible untold stories from these dono companies fleecing donors and streamers. We tried to tell executives the issues and were told that if we didnt, the company would go under.

The StreamElements situation is very confusing to me. If the financials are so bad that they're now on the brink of shutting down, why didn't they start taking a small percentage from donations years ago? It's a totally reasonable exchange considering everything else about the platform is free. Sure, they would have lost some of their users, but that's better than losing 100% of them.
