This is one of the most honest questions anyone can ask… The Bible actually addresses this tension repeatedly. 1. What looks like an “easy life” is not always what it seems. In Psalm 73, Asaph wrestled with this exact issue. He said he envied the wicked because: “They are not in trouble as other men… their eyes stand out with fatness…” But later he realized something: he was only seeing the present, not the end. “I understood their end.” - Psalm 73:17 Temporary ease is not the same as divine approval. 2. God’s blessings are not distributed strictly by church attendance frequency. “…for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” - Matthew 5:45 There is something called common grace such as in Health, Opportunities, Talent, Favor in systems These are not always tied to daily prayer. 3. Prayer is not a vending machine. In James 4:3, Scripture says: “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss…” Sometimes Motives are wrong, Timing is not right, God is developing character before releasing results, or the “result” we expect is not the will of God. 4. Comparison distorts perception. “There is a vanity which occurs on earth: that there are just men to whom it happens according to the work of the wicked…” - Ecclesiastes 8:14 In other words, life is not always instantly fair. Christianity does not promise an easier life. It promises - Eternal life - Transformation - Peace that surpasses understanding - Purpose beyond circumstances 5. Visible success is not ultimate success. Jesus asked in Mark 8:36: “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” The person who appears to be “winning” materially may be bankrupt spiritually. And lastly, sometimes God allows delay to deepen us. Joseph prayed, yet he went to prison. Job prayed, yet he suffered. Paul prayed, yet the thorn remained (2 Corinthians 12:7–9). So, Delay is not denial, Silence is not absence, & Hardship is not abandonment. So we must understand however that - Some people prosper because of discipline and natural principles. - Some struggle because of poor decisions, not lack of prayer. - Some suffer because of divine refinement. - Some thrive temporarily before eventual collapse. The full story is never visible in one season.

I recently learned something that shifted how I understand prayer. When the Bible says “the God of Abraham/David/Jacob,” it’s not repetition,it’s revelation. God’s name is attached to people’s stories so we understand how He shows up. The God of Jacob is the God who stays with the struggler. The God of David is the God who restores after failure. The God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is the God who delivers in the fire. Growing up, I heard my mom pray like this all the time. I didn’t realize she was calling on specific dimensions of God’s faithfulness. Now I understand, when we say “the God of…” we’re saying, “Do here what You did there.”

I just realized something profound. Remember the story of the woman Elisha helped — the one with only one jar of oil left? He told her to gather as many containers as possible, and the oil kept flowing until everything was filled. But look at verse 6 closely: “Soon every container was full to the brim. ‘Bring me another jar,’ she said. ‘There aren’t any more,’ her son replied. And then the oil stopped flowing.” That line hit me. What if the oil didn’t stop because it “had to”… but because of what was spoken? What if the son had said, “Let me get more jars”? Would the flow have continued? It made me realize: Sometimes our words declare our reality. When you say, “I have no more money… no more strength… no more hope,” what if you’re indirectly telling the flow to stop? There is real power in our confessions.

Repeling Snake in your surroundings. There's a plant Yorubas call Taba or Tobacco plant, it's a natural snake repellant plant. You only need the seed or cut a branch and plant it. They can survive anywhere. Plant it at the front or backyard or any entrance of your house. No snake will come near you. Avoiding Snake in your rooms or plumbing. You need Garlic, Garlic is potent against snakes. Peel garlic and throw some cloves around your living rooms, kitchen and backyard or front yard. The smell repel them. To avoid it in your plumbing, blend alot of garlic and hot pepper and boil water. Mix the blended garlic, blended pepper and the hot water together. Pour it inside your water closet and flush it. Pour same in your toilet hand wash basin, pour in your bathroom water outlets. Any water outlets pour this mixture. Those snake, insects or dangerous animals can't withstand it. Beyond this, you need to ensure your surroundings are safe, clear bush timely, clear narrow bush part, ensure cleanliness and have Garlic and Powdered charcoal in your house incase.of anything. You don't have to earn it. - Tell God what you're tired of carrying. He already knows. - End the day by placing everything back in His hands, even the things that didn't make sense.
