Wike Speaks on Kugbo Bus Terminal It was a natural disaster that no one had control over. Only roofing sheets were affected, and the damages are already being fixed. The terminal did not collapse. The structure is intact. What happened was that strong winds blew off parts of the roof. Repairs are ongoing. We thank God no live was lost.

I graduated with a degree at the age of 22 from the prestigious Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto. I didn't face any setbacks during my studies, and I've been applying for government jobs since 2018. Some recruitment processes progressed to the shortlisting stage, but we wouldn't make the final list. In other cases, we wouldn't even be among the shortlisted candidates. That's life, little by little, time passes. Now I'm 27 years and a few months old. Even if we meet all the criteria, they simply say we’re too old and that we’re no longer needed in this field. It’s been six years since I started applying for jobs with my degree, but unfortunately, it's not God’s will yet. At first, you apply with hope, believing you’ll get something, but eventually, you resign to simply filling out applications without expectations. There is a lot to observe among our graduates. Politicians can contest for positions at the age of 60 and above, but for graduates, if you're 27 or 28, there's no job unless you have connections or influence. We rely on the Provider, and He has not forgotten us.
