Hainault Ath Fc

Was nice to get back playing after 6 weeks without a game due to the bad weather. We had a good battle against @UAreserves yesterday, both teams played well. We went into a 3 goal lead but an own goal and sloppy defending got them back in to the game. We won the game 3.2

Finally after 6 weeks we got back to playing again, We played against a good Higham Park Rangers side, we knew it would be hard, having not played for so long, and players unavailable. We went in front, then they equalised, eventually we lost 3.2 on penalties, never mind.

Another good game against Rush Green Rangers yesterday, good game played in good spirit, some good football played by both sides. We won the game 2.0, but were made to work hard for it. Good luck to Ben and his lads for the rest of the season, good bunch of lads👍

We finally got our 1st win of the season yesterday with a good win against Rush Green Rangers FC. A superb hatrick from @luke_arsenal88 a 30 yarder goal from @ashwhite23 and a superb solo goal from Woz, sealed the win. Good luck to Ben and his lads for the season. Top lads👍

Finally first point of the season. Great game of football between ourselves and @HighamsParkRang end to end football, we went behind in the 1st half, but a goal 15 mins from full-time gave us a point. Our goalscorer @luke_arsenal88

Poor performance from us against @EandUFC Sunday side, didn’t help the circumstances before the game, having players get to the ground late due to parking far away from the ground due to a rugby festival. 6.1 defeat in the cup. @luke_arsenal88 with our goal. We go again Sunday

Not a great start to our league campaign, a 5.2 defeat against Zone 4 Ath. Having only played 1 friendly game before the season started didn’t help us at all. @luke_arsenal88 scored both our goals. We go again next week

Well what an awful start after Xmas playing yesterday. Started the game with 8 men, as 3 players went to the wrong ground, no keeper as he was away, awful 3G pitch. We were up against a very good young side, with a bare 11, players playing out of position etc, we were awful😩

Not a great result for us today, didn’t help that the referee started the game when we had two players on the touch line, the opposition scored straight from the kick off, mistakes cost us big time today. Well done Josh and all the @AceAthleticsFC lads all the best for the season
