Football clubs have appealed for new players to increase the numbers in their junior teams.

Shame really, not just for the clubs that are preparing to fold, but also for the young players just starting in adult football. Loosing the giant axe finals had a big effect all them years ago. Some great memories made though over the years!

@NLancsLeague Should this be allowed to happen once fixtures are out? If you start letting teams call off midweek without loosing the points I suspect your in for a very long season. The leagues set a bad precedent there which will be hard to follow during the season.

A typically testing evening at the Royal Albert against a combative Highgrove outfit - the hosts were two to the good having had the better of the first hour but we kept going & salvaged a draw through late goals from Luke Deveney & @Baino128. All the best @FcHighgrove 🫡
