Hello @wcandillon, I see that you are working on video support for react-native-skia, we are working on it also internally, but with a different approach of what I have seen from your public work, perhaps we could discuss a bit about it ?

@ryanflorence On my side I kept my team too much time and had to do the same 8 months too late which is clearly worse for everybody.

I had to lay off our team when Covid decimated our business, people sent me terrible DMs and criticized me here Layoffs suck, but you probably don’t know enough to get all self-righteous about it until you’ve sat there looking at a spreadsheet and realizing what you have to do😔

Vous n'auriez pas sous la main des films que l'on compare souvent à du Lynch ? Sans forcément que la comparaison soit juste, ou qu'ils soient "au niveau" (guillemets) mais qui apportent juste un petit moment cryptique sympathique. Exemple : Under the Silver Lake

You really understand the beauty of @typescript structural typing when you comeback to a more traditional nominal type system

I haven't worked with react native for over a year and a year later I still have the same problems, monorepo is hell, view transition is painful ...

Les gens qui mettent chaque composant js (React ou autre) dans un dossier, vous adoptez quelle nomenclature pour pas vous retrouver avec que des "index.js" dans votre liste de fichiers ouverts ?

Today, React Native reached a major milestone - all 1K+ RN screens in the Facebook app use the new Fabric renderer. This is something we have been working toward since January 2018! Next, we'll be starting to work on bringing this to open source for everyone to use - stay tuned!

Fun with #typescript variadics tuple types, could be useful for fp library typings : #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" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">typescriptlang.org/play?#code/AQF…

@davidwalshblog If I could have the same house without pool, I seriously would not mind paying 10% more for my rent. So much work for so little benefit (at least for me), the chemical are expensive and it's not eco friendly.

@engineering_bae As an interviewee, I one time ended one because the interviewer was disrespectful after I stated what was my expectation in terms of salary. As an interviewer one time because the candidate was obviously lying on his past experience.

Have you ever chosen to end an interview early? If so, why? You could have been an interviewee or an interviewer.
