Not all buckets can be filled by pouring into them. Some buckets need a slow drip. Have some patience and fill those buckets as well. Consistent drips can go a long way.

Tonight was a rough one. Y’all they really be trying to get me! 😭 Residential life is where I was introduced to being Trauma Informed. And let me tell you, everyday there is a new lesson to learn. However, no matter the lesson, building healthy relationships is always key.

Finally had the opportunity to meet with my boys again. We were able to narrow our triggers to a top five list. From there we identified if the trigger was a Social trigger or an Academic trigger, peer driven or teacher/adult driven. Next week we share examples and situations!

Last group before break and it was best one yet. Focus on Multiple Directions what Teachers want/expect and what Students sometimes need/require to comply. Provide a healthy platform/environment and students will take it from there.
