What if... Airports connected by high speed rail?

The best way to "salvage what we can" is to remain united and work to solve our collective problems. Not give up and balkanise the UK.

HS3, high speed trail from Hull to Liverpool (via Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester) is the best way to bring better transport to the North of England.

Pan-South Yorkshire tram network? High speed rail line between Hull and Liverpool (HS3)? West Yorkshire metro system?

Devolution to Yorkshire would, by some estimations, add billions to the economy. Why not decentralise Britain and England's economies and get them growing again? 💮 🏴 🇬🇧

In the UK, you can be both a proud Englishman and a proud Briton. The 84.3% of us living in our 53.7% of the UK should take pride in the fact that we are English as well as British and not shy away from it. It's a beautiful part of the world after all. 🏴 🇬🇧

Today is #EastRidingDay. The #EastRiding of the county of York is the smallest & least populous of #Yorkshire's three ridings and the lowest-lying. The East Riding has a lengthy seacoast along the North Sea and up the broad, tidal Humber. 🇬🇧 #HistoricCounties | #CountyDays 🏴

If London wants to "level up", we need a re-empowered GLA that > centralises functions up from boroughs > devolves down powers from govt > is elected either on PR or includes "business" votes (like the City) for non-res workers
