His whole goal outside of F1 is to promote sim racing as a parallel to karting for getting into the sport because it’s a fraction of the cost. Had a wow friend who skipped to shadowbringers before endwalker, played loved the gameplay but found out they loved the story and world design even more and went back with NG+. He always said he wouldn’t do it any other way. Because he wouldn’t have made it.

New game + in Final Fantasy XIV is specifically to play through the story again. So I don't know what you mean by that point. Skips could have been added for players who want alts without having to play through everything again. Either way, it's fine to not want the story aspect. I just think there's better games for you out there if you don't want to play the main purpose of the game. World of Warcraft, for example, is specifically designed for you to be able to enjoy without knowing anything about the story.

Honestly, if you don't care about story, and you just want to play an MMORPG that's focused entirely around endgame, then I'm not sure Final Fantasy XIV is for you. So much of it is about the journey, rather than the destination, like how classic RPG's used to be. If you just want endgame, which is fine, I'd honestly play World of Warcraft instead, instead of trying to push Final Fantasy XIV to be like World of Warcraft. We can have different games for different people. Final Fantasy XIV is about going on a long and slow journey of exploration, meeting and befriending both story characters and other players, and becoming attached to the world and its mysteries. So many of its most impactful and awe inducing moments are exactly because of that slow journey it took you to get there. And if that's not your you, again, that's okay. But you should probably find another game.

@MarcelianFlame Just remember how much better of a player a VDH normal is compared to the FOTM tanks. With our current state it’s actually extremely impressive to be that low. That’s a lot of people playing a difficult class very well.

They designed stuff with the mindset that players would min-max addons to help them, so the players without were having a real hard time. By nuking them this is no more

We're about a month into Midnight S1 and I STILL don't see what the benefit to nuking addons was.

@Fabio_1808 @DreadfuryDK Come on man. You tuning is the only reason M+ is a success right now. It has literally nothing to do with weakauras access at all. You still need to run NSRT addon (weakaura) to get a pug through Lura. It didn’t work. It made the gap between the have and have nots even wider.

@DreadfuryDK It was for makeing High-Tier endgame like M+ and Heroic Tier Raiding more approachable for low- to midcore gamers. And it absolutly worked if you looked at the overall numbers.
