Patient’s expectations can be challenging. Recently had someone say, “I’m not paying just to talk to someone for 45 minutes, I need massage” before booking their initial appointment. How do we approach this? Not easy, especially if we think massage is unlikely to help 🤔

Not fully understanding the CSP financial health I wondered if there was another option. Disappointed with the reality. Have to trust council

@FelipeCForte @thecsp @sarahmortonnhs 2/2 While council wanted to keep the rise as low as possible, in recognition of the pressure members are facing, it concluded a freeze would leave CSP unable to deliver for members sustainably.

CSP Council is capping the increase to 2023 member subscriptions at five per cent. The below-inflation change aims to reduce the impact on members' already stretched finances, while keeping the society financially sustainable. csp.org.uk/news/2022-10-0…
