Practiced this today using a Countries GraphQL API with queries like: code: "NG" nested continent queries translated fields like name(lang: "fr") Still learning, but definitely enjoying the process.

Started diving deeper into GraphQL today and I’m beginning to see why developers love it 🚀 Learned: • nested queries • scalar vs object field • filtering with arguments • schemas & data types • querying exactly the data you need #GraphQL #FelixTheAnalyst #APIs #DataAnalyst

One thing that really stood out to me is how GraphQL responses mirror your query structure exactly. You ask for specific fields → you get exactly those fields back. No over-fetching, no unnecessary data.

Define your logic before touching data 💡 Too many dashboards fail because people jump straight into queries & charts. Ask first: ❓ What question am I answering? ✅ What does “correct” look like? 🤔 What assumptions am I making? Clean logic → clean data → clear insights ✨

What made this tricky is how misleading the error was. Everything pointed to SQL or Dune issues, so I kept changing queries and datasets. But the real issue was outside the code , my system time being incorrect caused all requests to fail silently. #FelixTheAnalyst #Blockchain
