Re: abusers. It's hard to find empathy, but it's important to remember no one becomes an abuser in a vacuum. Every instance of abuse comes from a place of trauma. Not to say abusers should be given passes. Support their victims/do no harm. In rare cases abusers can recover.

"Contractual obligations dictate what an athlete must wear. If the uniform design violates the sport's governing body regulations (e.g., World Athletics), the athlete and team can collectively force a redesign. If the design is legal but the athlete simply dislikes it, refusing to wear it breaches their endorsement or team contract. Penalties can include fines, suspension, or loss of sponsorship pay." Cant you guys google before speaking?

@FemCondition @Doctorthe113 @Dexerto Huh? Do you think the athletes have no say in what the sponsors design? Performance is a top priority for sponsors especially in the Olympics, they want the athlete to win so there logo and brand is plastered everywhere.

New broadcasting guidelines for women's athletics have been released to crack down on camera angles and slow-motion replays that ‘sexualize’ athletes The guidelines highlight shots broadcasters are urged to avoid

@blancocito11 @SeagerMJ Yep, here's the female regulation compared to the male. You got them. They choose it.

@FemCondition @snkymustrd any team can wear that. all of what you are implying is false. women can wear very modest clothing in sports they simply do not want to.

@snkymustrd It's really not this hard. There's official regs, and sponsor designs. Athletes have to deal with both. Thos is how new this is. Also, your photo is clearly of a specific team that has cultural beliefs long allowed to alter. thepostathens.com/article/2024/0…

@slick5800 Here's the Paris Olympics regs for volleyball. Wonder why the women's are so much shorter and tighter than the men's? They must have demanded that, right? fivb.com/wp-content/upl…

@FemCondition I'm so tired of this myth that women are forced to wear the bikini briefs. They choose to wear them. Have you ever seen Sharika Jackson, Allyson Felix, Femka Bol, Sandi Morris wear bikinis. No, you have not because they choose not to.

@AsaditoRojo Exactly the point. What does the audience need a full upskirt view for, anyway?

@FemCondition I have hard this in a couple tweets and I don't understand why enforcing less sexualized camera angles is somehow a bad thing. The athletes could compete comfortably in whatever clothers they want if the camera crew behaves properly.

@FemCondition @Dexerto They could just say no. Individually or as a group. As for female volley ball athletes, their outfits are ridiculous. And the female athletes still go along with it.

@FemCondition @ohsnapitysnapz @Doctorthe113 @Dexerto I'm guessing you're a woman since you're wrong and retarded. Taking sponsorships is entirely optional. Obviously if they're a woman, the sponsor wants to sell more sports bras or whatever women like wearing in public. They can wear pretty much whatever they want.

@wyvernsrose That's swim, and it's funny you had to go to swim. Because the regulations were track and field.

I'm not saying its women being hysterical... its criminologists they have shifted definitions and thresholds the public isn't even aware of these changes and they are trying to have them imposed internationally I agreed with you on attire I'm referring to wider shifts when it comes to sports and images they have forced social media platforms to completely deplatform athletes based on their thresholds, just for smiling

@xalipi159006 I think the question not being asked is why aren't there uniforms of equivalent design for the men's teams?
