The target audience is obviously teenagers, and largely queer teenagers. But it’s also just a high-stakes, high-voltage, sci-fi fantasy space opera genre mash that I think has a lot to offer anybody as nerdy as I am. So thank you to the gamers. Seriously. I love you guys.

Before the last 24 hours are up, let me just say now, my original plan was to post very little about the book on my FGC accounts and keep it to the author accounts because I didn’t think anyone would care. And so many of you have shown up and shown out for this. Thank you.

@FemShepFGC Thanks for the tip! I have always found the journey in producing writings and art quite enjoyable when I did them, so I'm hoping to rediscover than enjoyment when I start writing again. Come to think of it, maybe I should stream myself writing. Might be interesting.

I have mostly calmed down after all the weirdness that went down over the past few days. But I'll be looking to see a professional about my depression and mental health. While I usually try to suppress it, the last 48 hours had made me crash-out real hard. I almost lost it. 👇 So yes, I definitely could use help in improving my mental state. After the BLKO post-season finishes, I'll be taking a break from fighting games. I need to get my life back together. There are some things that I miss doing but I somehow lack the energy and motivation to do them. For instance, I keep saying "I want to do an art stream!" but I bust out my drawing tablet and just stare at Clip Studio Paint and do nothing. Writing and drawing are two things I want to return to doing. I used to write stuff on Wattpad, but I have since closed that account years ago. If I write, I want to take another crack at traditional publishing. The process for it will be a lot longer than self-pub, but I feel that it will pay off in the long run. Thanks to @FemShepFGC, I feel inspired to write again. I've had a cyberpunk-fantasy story I've been wanting to produce for a long time, and I really want to get started on it. Anyway, I ran sets with JA10 and TA-Styles a couple hours ago. Today was the first time I actually beat them in an FT5, so I was pretty happy with that. TA-Styles' Ryu is a bit on the wild side -- the kind of weird and wild Ryu you'd find in the MR1300 or 1400 bracket -- except that Styles' consciously know what the freak he's doing compared to your average autopiloting YOLO-Masher. I beat him 5-4. JA10 plays a more grounded Ryu, which required me to re-calibrate my game plan and beat him, 5-1. Interestingly, JA10 plays in Division A in BLKO, which is like two and half weight classes above me and comprises mostly of MR1700 players. At the time of writing, JA10 is first place in his pool. My Viper is still "New Challenger". I guess I should do Ranked. I just need to go 10-0 against this demon called "Ranked Anxiety". Well, even though my BLKO results (below, which I update for the intermissions on my streams) aren't official, I'm quite happy with how it turned out. My previous posts go into detail why these aren't official, but I'd rather not dwell on the technicalities and relive my psychotic crash-out. Instead, I look forward to the next one, whenever that might be. I had folks who know me in both FightRise and the Newbie Fight Club tell me that I was under-seeded for my pool, as in I should be in either Division low-A or high-B, not high-C. Maybe they're right. If I sign up for BLKO again, I feel like I'm not going to be in Division C again. Anywho, shoutout to FightRise for this amazing event. I feel like I play Viper a lot better than I do with Cammy. As for what the future holds -- I don't know yet. There are few loose ends I need to tie up in the NFC Discord before I take an official break from fighting games. I really don't want to leave them hanging. And for the glamour side of things in FFXIV -- I'm still doing that. I have three glamours in queue for publication with GPOSERS Magazine (the next issue's topic is a wild one and I had a lot of fun with it) and one more queued for their Spring Time Saturday segment, so stay tune for that! I also have a few more glams I want to produce outside of GPOSERS -- I just need to take screenshots of them and post them. Anyway, if you're still reading, then thanks for reading. I want to make it a habit to start writing more often again, regardless of my mood, so here's to another long-ass post!

I have almost 50 pre-order art pack envelopes packed. Got my first message from a Book Fest reader who consumed the entire book in the last 48 hours and deeply connected. And got a pre-order labeled “our daughter is an aspiring sapphic novelist” so, I am once again crying.
