In 2023, Gov. Inuwa had everything under his control, but we worked against BAT & delivered Gombe to Atiku. The Governor struggled to get 25% for APC. The people were not this angry then. How do you think the Governor can now influence the election now that the people are angry?

The K.K.K (Kano, Kaduna & Katsina) votes from the north is enough to overshadow votes from the South South and South West alone. APC has already failed in 2027. When the oracle speaks, do not doubt it.

2nd term is for very very exceptional performance, I have not seen any Governor or even the President deserving second term. Nigerians must normalize denying second terms, do whatever you want to do in the first term. 2027 is Nigerians Vs their oppressors.

I like Saraki very well and respect his opinion but this time I think he is not being fair to his supporters with ambition as he has kept them in limbo just for his 2031 plans, in APC they have no pathway and PDP is at dead end. On the issue of Southern turn let's be realistic by 2027 the south had ruled for 18 years while the north have done it for 10 years only, so that arguement is dead on arrival.

2027: I think it is only fair to allow the South to complete its 8 years. I was one of those that supported that PDP should zone presidency to the south in 2027. -Bukola Saraki, Former Kwara State Governor #PoliticsToday

Today, at the South East Zonal Congress of our great party, the APC, we elected a new eight-member Zonal Executive by consensus, a clear demonstration of our unity, maturity, and shared resolve as a political family. As I stated in my remarks, our presence and the sheer number of people in attendance were a testament to the undeniable truth that the APC in the South East is solid. Despite the predictions of naysayers who expected our congresses to end in division, we have emerged stronger, more cohesive, and more determined than ever. As I also noted, our peaceful and successful ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses underscore our collective determination to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027. I commend the President for his audacious and expedient reforms, which have set Nigeria firmly on the path of sustainable economic growth. As we look ahead to the National Convention, let us sustain this spirit of brotherhood and unity. Beyond these congresses, we must continue to demonstrate that the South East APC is not only growing, but also a model of internal cohesion and progressive politics. Tomorrow is here

🫀 Key Cardiac Risk Markers You Shouldn’t Ignore Heart attacks in 20s & 30s are becoming frighteningly common. Fit on the outside ≠ Healthy on the inside. Here’s how to investigate early & prevent silent cardiac risk 👇 🔴 1. Lipid Profile is just the beginning Check more than just total cholesterol. ✅ LDL (bad cholesterol) ✅ HDL (good cholesterol) ✅ Triglycerides (TG) ✅ VLDL 🔍 Ideal: • TG < 100 • HDL > 50 • LDL < 100 • TG/HDL ratio < 2 🔴 2. ApoB & ApoA1 – Better than LDL 🔸ApoB = Number of artery-clogging particles 🔸ApoA1 = Protective particles ✅ Ideal ApoB < 90 ✅ ApoB/ApoA1 Ratio < 0.6 This is a stronger predictor of heart disease than LDL alone. 🔴 3. Lp(a) – The silent genetic risk 🔸Not tested in basic reports 🔸Genetically inherited 🔸Can increase heart attack risk even if other markers are normal ✅ Ideal Lp(a) < 30 mg/dL 📌 Test it once in life—even if you’re young. 🔴 4. hsCRP – Inflammation matters 🔸High-sensitivity C-Reactive Protein 🔸Marker of chronic low-grade inflammation ✅ Ideal < 1.0 mg/L 🔥 Chronic inflammation silently damages arteries. 🔴 5. Homocysteine – B12 & Heart Link 🔸Elevated in B12/folate deficiency 🔸Promotes clotting & damages blood vessels ✅ Ideal < 10 µmol/L 📌 If high, correct B12, folate, B6 levels. 🔴 6. Fasting Insulin & HOMA-IR 🔸Most missed test. Insulin resistance often starts years before diabetes. ✅ Fasting insulin < 6 ✅ HOMA-IR < 1.5 📌 Even with normal sugar, high insulin = silent metabolic risk. 🔴 7. CAC Score (Calcium Score CT) 🔸Non-invasive scan to detect early plaque in coronary arteries 🔸Score 0 = very low risk 🔸Higher scores = hidden artery blockage 📌 Highly recommended if you have family history or are >35 with risk markers. 🧠 Prevention is not just avoiding junk food. It’s about testing early and tracking the real markers of silent cardiac risk. ✅ Don’t wait for chest pain. ✅ Don’t assume fitness = health. ✅ Investigate > Guess ✅ Act early = Live longer #HeartHealth #PreventHeartAttack #MetabolicHealth

There is a grief that never fully leaves. The grief of a family that lost someone in uniform, a father who didn’t come home, a spouse who chose duty over safety, and paid the ultimate price. Today, the Nigerian Police Force faced 1,075 of those families and said with cheques in hand: ~ “We see your sacrifice. We honour your loss. And we will not let it go unrecognised.” At the Force Headquarters, Abuja, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, personally presented cheques totalling ₦2,435,421,584.11 to beneficiaries and next-of-kin of deceased officers, covering policy years from 2018 through 2026, including long-outstanding claims that families had waited years to receive. The IGP emphasized strengthening welfare frameworks, eliminating administrative bottlenecks, and deploying modern technology to ensure faster, more transparent, and more accountable claim processes going forward. “A Force that neglects its fallen heroes cannot inspire its living ones.”
