My theatre has Air conditioning so it’s usually very cold. To us it’s a normal feeling, but to my patients who mainly live in ‘manyatas’, it’s a whole different experience. And because they’re not seeing, they are left with perceptions. I just enjoy listening to their comments always. ‘This place feels like heaven’, said one gentleman and we burst out laughing because we understood what he was trying to communicate. Another lady yesterday said, Huh, this place is so cold, my feet can barely feel the ground’ 😊 My nurse jokingly asked how she will manage life if she happens to travel to America to which she replied: ‘If America is this cold, I don’t want to go there’ 😂😂😂

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the sudden and untimely passing of one of our own, Julius Ankwatse (@Boy_Child_ ), who tragically lost his life after a fall in a bathroom in Dubai, where he had gone in search of greener pastures. Julius hailed from Mbarara, and arrangements to repatriate his body back to Uganda are currently underway. I am in touch with some of his family members and will keep you updated on the burial plans and any other necessary details. May his family and friends find strength during this difficult time, and may our brother’s soul rest in eternal peace 🙏
