With that being said, let me show you my 2026 ranking (songs only - the performance is what matters the most and then this songs only ranking is used as a comparison - and then deleted forever) Again example: last year, Milkshake Man was my #20 in songs only, but #1 OVERALL !!!

I have compared my method to gerbear's sorter and the result is super similar, so I'd just like to stick to my method (which is also a bit less work)

- step 4: once a point group has been ranked, move on to next group and rank them - step 5: repeat until entire year is complete - you now have your full ranking

It is possible for a song in a lower tier to get a point or two more, which removes it from its group and places it in a higher tier - in running order order

Disclaimer: A key change will lose you points, I said what I said

Only once all NF songs are done, then I take the GF songs in order against the lowest ranked in that group Lowest ranked group is first, so for 2025 it was the group of 7 points, everybody lower was just Theo Evan (6 points)

This now means that the first battle is Slovenia vs Belgium - here Belgium was better for me The ranking is now: 1. Belgium 2. Slovenia Next in line is Montenegro, and is battling Slovenia. If Montenegro wins, they battle Belgium, if they lose, they never battle the songs above

Example from 2025 (group of 8 points, the largest group) Songs I ranked 8 points, but were NQ: - Slovenia (3rd in SF1) - Belgium (9th in SF1) - Montenegro (2nd in SF2) - Georgia (10th in SF2) Songs I ranked 8 points and were Q: - Norway (1st in GF) - Israel (4th in GF)

- step 3: instead of every song vs. every song, I look at the lowest ranked group first and pick the two songs with the earliest running order for that group Songs that are NQ have priority over songs in the GF for the running order
