My initial impressions are not great, but I'm hoping snowgrave will be more than what I predicted. I enjoyed the difficulty and attacks of the final and secret bosses, even though I really, really hated the characters. Also no confirmed 2027 release date lmao.

@PeeJizznsfw I like psychonauts, but I don't really have anything to add to the discussion around it besides actually liking Meat Circus. I really, really don't like the sequel outside of Ford, but I don't know how much I'd have to say about it compared to the games I grew up with.

I guess this means I'll be making 3 Undertale/Deltarune videos in a row again, sigh. I still have no idea how I'll present my second review of Chapter 3 & 4. Should it be satirical like, "Ch 3 & 4 were perfect," or obscure like, "A review of 2 chapters of that one game again."

Yeah, the Ocarina of Time remake looks like shit, but I'm more pissed how cinematic they're clearly trying to make it, just like Starfox 64. Miyamoto, the guy who made these games, always used to put the emphasis solely on gameplay. These recent games have been doing the opposite

Pixel art and low poly aesthetics have irreparably damaged the indie scene. It's become the degradation of art for efficiency. It's no longer done out of passion or respect for the medium. It has become the equivalent of the corporate, minimalist art style everyone mutually hates

They sound like a bunch of geeks at a DND session awkwardly trying to speak in character. I considered uploading my reaction, but it's what you'd expect. Though I did enjoy talking about how StarFox 64 was an arguably perfect video game. Also I called the katt change early on lol

I don't care how pretty the water will look, because they butchered the main cast's dialogue and acting. (PC port runs better too.) Their edge was taken away. They're all so disgustingly tepid to each other. There's no emotion in their voices anymore, as if they aren't in action.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a New Horizons type situation, where it'll be updated a year from now with more content, like Tomodachi Quest, to bring it closer to the original. I enjoyed some of my time with it, and facepaint is useful, but it still predominantly felt lazy.

The new Tomodachi Life is lazy. The initial shock of Gorgonzola yelling slurs is fun, but you're left doing the same boring tasks to manually, and poorly replicate what the 3Ds game did by itself. The same, uninteresting Mii interactions are sparse and repeated ad nauseum.

@homerjahsimpson This is one of the most superb, well articulated reviews I've ever read. I cannot express just how grateful I am for this. It's better than my attempt lol. It tackles everything. From Ch1's better setup, to the removal of Snowgrave's metaphor, and even Susie's awful new sprites.

It's been a very busy month, so uhh, I've barely gotten any work done on the Undertale Yellow video since I last mentioned it. It doesn't help that I've redone the voice-over around 3 times, because disliked how it turned out. But I hope I get to finish it soon.
