💯 as always. Issue though is that people with the worst takes on Tifa and thus FF7 as a whole rarely get called out individually and instead everyone gets lumped in together as one big group and so the individuals feel entitled to carry on doing what they do. No accountability.

@motokomakima I'm sorry, but have you seen the way Cloud gets trashed by all sides of this 'community' - it's not just Tifa by a long shot! I love both Cloud and Tifa and it's nice to see support for her, but when it comes to Cloud, there is complete silence. Sad, but true!

We also have accounts in the mainstream of the FF7 fandom, who either have tweets or videos basically laughing and mocking Tifa, either via her body, or that Cloud would practically use her for his own ends and toss her aside for reasons because she's nothing. They get to carry on doing this because nobody says shit. You can say she isn't a real character, and its true, but quite frankly if this is your attitude towards her character as a woman, cause lets be honest you wouldn't keep that same attitude if she was a man, then i'm entitled to believe its reflective of your attitude towards women in real life.

Cloud Strife is the HERO of ff7, not the villain! He’s loyal and cherishes everyone in his life. He doesn’t play with anyone’s feelings, doesnt use anyone, doesn’t take advantage of others; especially not those close to him. He remains soft in a world that is cruel to him.

@ProScitor Sadly, this will get zero likes because you're actually defending Cloud & that's a huge No No on here. A reason why I rarely come on here is because this community is a total sham & trashing Cloud in order to elevate their fave is the only way they can act. How pathetic is that?

By and large, this rant contains the same points that I've been making forever. But there is one difference. I usually don't comment on the subjective, aesthetic stuff, but this time around I decided to be a little bit petty, just to hammer the point home. #FFVII #CloudStrife

Do you guys want a secret to having a great community without any negative vibes and toxicity? It's quite simple. Imho: Follow people who have the same interests as you do and block out those that don't and act all negative and toxic. My community so far has been great! 🥹♥️♥️
