Hello everyone, Benito’s passing has taken us all by surprise. His wife and family are now facing the toughest time imaginable. To honour his memory and celebrate his life, we would like to collect the testimonies, conversations, and memorable stories we shared with him. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to share a memory of Benoit. Especially as he touched and changed the lives of so many of us. Benoit is literally everywhere around me. A decade of friendship that led to the creation of memories literally everywhere I look and with everyone I talk to. He taught me many things through his unique vision on life. The debates we had, the laugh, the shared love for gaming and tech, ... he always came with absolutely weird but amazing idea, either at FNATIC, in between and then obviously at RTFKT.

I am shrouded in profound sadness by the abrupt passing of Benoit Pagotto @benit0it. I have very few friends—actually, almost none. But RTFKT’s @RTFKT Benoit, whom I first met online during the pandemic, was one of the rare beings who made me think, “Ah! This person might be my friend!” From his ideas with no limits to his drive and ability to take action, he was simply unparalleled. And above all, his kindness! When my family visited Paris and my son was feeling down, Benoit kindly spent a few days with him, showing him around the city and playing games together. His compassion was truly beyond measure. ∞! Benoit! Let us meet again someday!! Because I do believe in the next world beyond!! Until then, rest in peace, my friend. 🙏

Today I lost my good friend Ben. He was truly a visionary and I loved every second of the creative chaos we shared over the last 10 years. I can’t believe that just a few days ago I was hearing you laugh not knowing that that it would be our last time together. You dreamed big and often saw things before anyone could even understand them. You fought for those you cared for and saw potential in people that many would overlook. I will miss you very much. Thank you for all the memories, the jokes, the belly laughs, and for always being you. Forever a legend 🖤
