@Feren_OS I manually installed nemo-shares and now the sharing options show up. But, the share doesn't work. I can't access it. And when I create it I get this message:

Check Update Manager. Announcement and ISO will be releasing later.

@DGollahon Disks was replaced in favour of Partition Manager in new releases due to wanting to rely less on GTK, especially now those applications are slated to use Libadwaita.

@Feren_OS I went ahead and reinstalled from iso. Using Feren OS is learning curve now. Where is Disks app? And I don't see any way to create network shares on directories. Used to go to File/Sharing Options or something like that.

@DGollahon Weird. If nothing changes, go into Konsole, type "pkexec reset-feren-ppas" without the quotes, and press ENTER, then try Refresh in Update Manager again.

@Feren_OS It says my system is up to date. Yet it will not get the upgrade. I have the ISO download but I would rather not wipe out everything to reinstall.

@Feren_OS 1) i was enthusiastic about feren os so far and was looking forward to the new version 2025.03, unfortunately i have to realize that the update manager does not work. it goes as far as timeshift and the backup, after that it doesn't go any further...😡

@whitebearvt If you've been on Linux for as long as I am this will likely sound familiar to you: It's an old Emerald theme someone fixed and posted in Windows on Windows's Discord a while back, applied via the smaragd Project. It's a placeholder on my rice until Inspire 4.0 titlebars exist

The repository keyring for Feren OS 2023.04 and older releases has been renewed to 2029 - you have until 2025-06-22 to update "feren-repository-keyring" to its latest version to keep getting Feren OS system updates uninterrupted.
