@miriamkp Yes—fiction exists in an ongoing present, so when discussing the story, it’s “writes.” When discussing the time in which it was written, “wrote.” (In Mrs. Dalloway, Woolf writes about a society matron throwing a party. Sue wrote it in 1925.)
