When I was a kid, I didnt know the value of almost any cards. I think it was better that way.

I recently vended at a card show and this kid walks up proudly with a whole binder of Pokémon cards that he wanted offer for trade. I open it up to see every single card nearly penny-sleeved, sorted, and color coordinated with tiny stickers based on value, with a whole explanation of his value system in the front cover. The future of this hobby is bright. 🫡

@Ferrial273 That doesn't sound possible, dataminers have confirmed a pity counter in the system. 42 is the max for legends/Mythical.

I saw this discussion about special scans in LZA DLC having a pity counter and confirmed it's true today. gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/452075-… If you get 5 special scans in a row that aren't an "Unknown" legendary/mythical, the game forces the 6th one to roll from the eligible pool.

Finished the freakin DLC dex after 42 special scans. Now I can stop playing this game now.
Being forced to keep jumping through the wormholes into white-washed chunks of the same city really ruined the experience of this game.
