Hey all, this is RicPundit. My actual name is Eric Farrell, and I've become obsessed with following Jesus. I’m going to be tweeting a lot about my new ministry to the unhoused(homeless). I’m also going to be talking a lot about God’s love and what I think it means to be a disciple of Christ (spoiler, it involves loving people and helping them out). @eprovance @NancyAFrench No worries, yeah, tough chapter, but there's worse in Judges lol. The city of Corinthians was notorious for it's sexual immorality, so it's not that surprising that the church was effected by the prevailing culture. Enjoy your afternoon and thanks for the advice. One of my favorite things about Adventist culture is that we never stopped the old practice of campmeetings. It’s a week of fellowship, godly preaching, prayer and Bible study. It’s good for the soul!

@JenniferJillS Exactly right, God's love, as revealed in the cross of Christ, is the ultimate healing reality. Every single human being is loved just as much as Jesus was loved by God, because that is the cost of our salvation. Ergo, every human being is infinitely valued and loved.

For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52 As a middle age dude, I'm so happy that at the end of the road, believers get a new imperishable body, because mine is starting to break down lol.

2/ Also I want to add that it's not just finding a part of myself, it's finding myself in my identity in the cross of Christ. When I believed that God Himself valued my life over His, it really changed me. Also, feel free to chat me up or send me a DM I still do small talk lol. @shelley_curious @Danielsrotaryo1 The reality that Jesus died for me, not just for the rest of the world, but for me fills my soul with wonder and happiness. It also carries an obligation to love my fellow human beings like He loved me.
