Does INTC have a shelve in place where they can sell shares quickly and further cleanup balance sheet for flexibility....I would think that they have to wait until after the business update to level the info playing field... Lip wants cash flexibilit now (quickly) in order to steer the ship.

Maybe.....but a some point someone is going to look hard at how 30% of this stuff is being bought with hocus-pocus money (Chip companies "giving" money to others to turn around and buy there products with (equity swaps, future % of sales, or fashion vendor term financing). When that tips over valuations are going to bust 40% -70%. The other 70% has real money to spend, GOOG, MSFT, META, APPL, AMZN, X, but their largest cloud IT consumers who built that pile of cash are regulated fortune 500's and regulated requires knowing exactly what an AI agent is doing, has done, and will do in the future in a predictable way in order to function. We are not their yet for regulated industries to be able manage that. This has 2000 bust written all over it, just don't know if it's currently Jan 1997 or Dec 1999 right now.

The market no longer sees $AMD as a second option It’s realized $AMD is a big deal in its own way But let me tell you something. Only 5% of the $AMD thesis has become visible What’s coming is way, way bigger

Not really, a heck of a lot of options. Including trading the pick, trading the draftee, or, or, or. More options than at nine.....Moving down for more picks....the Sharks system lacks quality D prospects as well.....Need more 6' 2" with bulk and speed guys that can AHL into the position over time.....The waiver wire should not be better than anything you have in the AHL.

From the looks of things, we're going to be disappointed either way. If we draft Stenberg, somebody in the top 6 is getting axed. If we go RHD, no immediate impact to help that playoff expectation next season. No guarantee we sign an elite defenseman either.

You will see $93 again, maybe even $88 on the normal course to $200. Now that's on the normal course, if the Musk vs. OpenAI verdic puts a 6 -18 month pause in OpenAI/MSFTs ability to burn billions (while the leadership/structure shuffel takes place, you'll see a 30% sharp pull back accross the board in Chips as a pause in those billions in spend willl make the buildout look a lot more managable.

Cherny isn't going anywhere. All of the top six young skill are fly-weights, except Chern, and you don't get out of the second round with fly-weights, they end up injured or dead in the 1st round. Ek probably ends up somewhere else in a year or two, Graf too if he doesn't beef up (both need to be beefly versions of their current selves to stick). Sharks need 3 development D and 1 top four D from the draft. They will give Sam a chance to be better in camp next year, but it wouldn't suprise me to see him do 25 games in the AHL, to get him back to playing without thinking so slow. Sharks are also going to start learning playoff style hockey next year in the regular season (not just skill/structure hockey) .... watching most PO series this year, it's clear 85% of the teams playing are just at a different level of toughness. Teams are also going to be hitting Mac next year.....

Stenberg would immediately slot in as a top 3 forward on this team. The D this high won’t be ready like that, even Chase Reid. Mack Misa Stenberg Smith Eklund Chernyshov That’s an insane top 6 and gives the room to trade an EK/Cherny for a top flight d man

Ya, true but when you own 1,000 shares of NVDA at $14 in 2014 (50 cents split adjusted) and sell it 20 months later for $52 ($1.50) you feel really good, till it never looks back and it is sitting 100x from $1.50 in 2025. The reality is, for stocks to make that kind of run, other than the CEO, unknowable things will have to happen in the years ahead. (i.e. you can know the CEO is smart and beating what you can see, but you can't know bitcoin mining and AI will be coming in 5 years and everyone else will drop the ball).

@Ferris15G @alc2022 There’s nothing wrong with that. Those 10 years were not linear. We went up down and sideways. If you bought at the bottoms of 2017 and sold at 150 in 2021 then when it fell to 93 last year and you get in that’s winning. You get the returns in less time.

@dalibali2 The right way to look at INTC is market cap and invested capital. They have been screwed up for a long time. So with NVDA at 4.7T market cap, what could INTC be with solid leadership and large capital equipment base? It really isn't hard to see 900b in the near to mid term.

Noble, is now playing World of Warcraft hands-free using only brain signals Two years ago, this was pure science fiction Today, it’s happening in clinical trials Neuralink not just restoring independence, it’s also unlocking new dimensions of human capability Patients who were once completely paralyzed are now interacting with the physical and digital world using nothing but their thoughts The future is not coming. That trade would suck for McDavid....as it makes fixing the D problems unfixable....(can't afford to buy them in FA, and no longer have the assets to trade or draft for them) the right answer is draft and develop.....the core young forwards on the Sharks still have 2-3 years of beefing up to do or they will just find themselves injured or dead in the 1st round anyway.

Musk admitted there was no written agreement or contract with OpenAI about the terms of his early donation. So the entire “they betrayed the founding deal” argument basically comes down to vibes, memory, and billionaire regret. He’s done.

Going to come down to the details - "Open AI Startup Fund" what is it, how was it created, who owns it vs. "Open AI Corp" which can be a totally different entity. But, where it will get messy is in an asset/IP/Contract/ good will etc. transfers from "Open AI Corp" to "Open AI Startup Fund" and the board governance around each and every transfer (wether those were all board considered and approved or was the "Startup Fund" was just a way to steal from the non-profit and enrich it's holders).

$INTC: +10% today. +125% on the month. +350% on the year. @danielnewmanUV called it when nobody believed. His thesis was simple: Washington would make this company, and leading-edge American semi manufacturing was the tailwind no one was pricing in. He stuck with it. He got it right.
