Update, new battery, under warranty, dealer loaner. GM’s doing the right thing and I still love this car.

Hey @chevrolet, my Bolt battery safety recall warning is on and the car won’t drive. The dealer says no loaner. Can you help? I’m assuming this won’t catch fire, but anything you can do to make quick warranty work easier would be appreciated.

@shanselman At least in the US, dependability metrics are all based on arrival time. Departure shenanigans are usually more about queues for clearance and preventing the crew from "dying at the gate", i.e. hitting the max hours limit. Once they're off the gate, they can't cancel.
