I haven't been on Twitter for a while, but here's a taste of what we've been through the last few days. We are safe, our friend's house is not, a single mother and tenants plucked to safety after 2am flooding of her house, so many have played a part in our recovery...

@farmgeek Would love if PanPac would help my friend (a single mother & 70+ step father) and clean up their slash, logs, & debris from her house, just down the road from them in Whirinaki. Can't see that happening though, it's been the community that's been helping her out...
