@dancingastro + ALWAYS if you gotta send it to a colleague make sure it's uncompressed/as a file because Whatsapp/Telegram etc. will destroy the quality of your video before it's even posted.

Always get questions on iPhone camera settings (I’m on a 15 Pro) when taking vids at shows so figured to do a post before festival season Most importantly and I can’t stress this enough: clean your camera lens. Use a microfiber/lens wipe and bring it to shows if you want to make sure it stays clean Huge shoutout to @Scvno_ for a lot of this ▪️Turn “Record stereo sound” off (Game changer for audio. Gives you fuller sound) ▪️Most social apps only support up to 1080p/60fps but I record in 4K/60fps bc it still looks better despite being compressed (but it takes up a lot of phone storage) ▪️Set exposure to -1.0 (or whatever you prefer but lower helps capture visuals/lighting better) ▪️Turn Auto FPS off to always keep it at 60 ▪️Preserve settings: camera mode (so you don’t have to switch from photo to video every time) and exposure adjusment (so you can keep it at whatever # you want) ▪️Grid setting helps keeps video centered ▪️Level setting helps keeps video balanced If any actual photographers/videographers have more insight into any of this, pls lmk
