The other day the Democratic Party stated that “Trans rights are human rights” and people lost their minds. It wasn’t a statement about sports, kids, or bathrooms. It was about shared humanity. Saying that human rights belong to all people shouldn’t be controversial. The fact that it did cause controversy is a symptom of a moral rot in our society that certainly doesn’t come from trans people. Trans rights are human rights is not a leftist position. It’s a moral baseline.

Was looking for a dog food that my elderly mutt would like enough to eat as she has gotten increasingly finicky. Went through brand after brand of premium food. Expanded the options. She chose Amazon Basics. I offered her luxury and she chose McDonalds.

I criticized Gavin Newsom so this guy @Fyrnackner decided that I am a white nationalist and Trump supporter and put me on his little list. Because I criticized one Democrat. I am wholeheartedly anti-Trump and have been since 2015. But he thinks that because he can’t put ethics over party identity, nobody else can. No different than MAGA calling everybody else libtards and communists.

Good news is the heartworm is closer to stage 1 than 2, there are visible changes to the pulmonary vessels though. The lowest-risk option the vet suggested is to treat the heartworm first while his leg is splinted, then doing surgery with rods+plate. Most likely no amputation 🙏

BF and I drove 24 hour round trip to get a dog from the shelter the day before euthanasia deadline. Broken leg, heartworm+, covered in ticks 😞 vet appt today to plan surgery and heartworm treatment since the injection can fatally interact with anesthesia so it’s gonna be tricky.
