@AffluentMist There will be times where his own safety overwrites chivalry. Once a girl crosses the line into physically attacking a guy, she loses lady privileges and upgrades to a threat. Not saying swing for the fences, but you gotta stop the attacker for your own safety.

I taught my son never to hit a lady under any circumstances. Today, he came home looking like this after being attacked by a girl. Is it my fault for teaching him not to hit ladies, or is it his fault for not defending himself?
