Westwood wins it 22 seconds into overtime off a tip near post. The Wolverines take this Division 2 second round matchup. Mascomomet's 19-game unbeaten streak ends, as does their season at 17-1-2.

Captain Savannah Stevens scored off a corner with just seconds to play as 6th seeded @FhMasco fends off North Attleboro, 4-3, in a Division 2 first round playoff game. Ava Gauvain had the other 3 goals for the Chieftains (17-0-2) and freshman Julia Beauvais came up with 12 saves.

“I talked to the girls midway through the season, and we set some goals,” McGuire said. “A lot of the girls wrote down [winning] the NEC title, but also making it far in the postseason. The girls really are motivated and want to do well to get us out there, so we are excited.”

In Vanessa McGuire’s first season as coach at Masconomet, the Chieftains (16-0-2) won the Northeastern Dunn title after sharing it last year with Beverly. The winning goal came from junior Mia Marques (12 goals, 19 assists).
