@YSTeachingNHS spent day in A&E majors as a patient yesterday. Understand refurbs but no access in waiting area to oxygen, crash trolley, emergency buzzer out of order. Elderly patients on trolleys outside of waiting area that nurses could not have eyes on. Please review safety

My mother and I are alone in Cairo. I can’t leave her here. I’ve called the UK embassy and they have offered me nothing. Every day I am away from my work, my patients lives are at risk. I need to bring my mother with me to England. Why is this inhumane policy adopted.

Massive thank you to your incredible midwives and maternity services who helped us welcome our baby boy into the world on good friday. Despite significant staffing challenges and closure to further admissions that day, my care was outstanding and we had a quick turnaround 👏⭐️

Easter weekend brought us the true celebration of "new life" when our hearts and family grew as we welcomed our gorgeous BOY into the world 💙 Rupert Geoffrey Johnson you are so loved. Huge Thank You @YSTeachingNHS maternity services for the outstanding care we both received.

Disgraceful that this behaviour, let alone LAW is allowed in the 21st century. A sad day and a huge step backwards for LGBTQ rights. Imagine not being 'free' to be yourself 💔

Agree. Perhaps a clinical / non-clinical split would be appropriate? Whilst we rely on our non-clinical staff there is a vast difference in demand, expectations, responsibility and CPD/training between a nurse and say NHS PR/marketing executive. That should be reflected in pay

@theRCN fail to see how these wider commitments will support recruitment and retention. Should already be on the agenda! Without a fair pay rise it is still not appealing enough

Nurses have been offered a pay increase of 5% for 2023-24 and a one-off payment worth between £1,655 and £3,789 for this year. Do you think it is enough?

Update: I’ve been taken off one section, and put on a different one (this new one focuses on treatment & lasts up to six months) I really thought I was going to be discharged this week so currently feeling very confused by it all (1/3)
