@traderkane It also protects you from tilting. You don’t want $100k in the account trading 5 minis because if you tilt, the whole account is at risk.

Having a large $ amount inside of an account is kinda of silly unless you plan to use a large % of the margin available. Having 100k in an account and using 5 minis is silly. Put what you are willing to lose on 2-5 trades inside of the account and swing harder.

@traderkane What you’re saying makes perfect sense, But personally for me in that situation emotions are super volatile which as you can imagine isn’t ideal in what we do. But hey I don’t even have 100k. Luckily trading isn’t a 1 route destination. Hope to cross paths with you someday tho

@FiSadat96 The thing is, if you keep taking decent sized swings. You’ll know when as you’ll turn balance into balance*4. You have two choices then, reset it back, or keep that size.

-$1,789 today across all accounts (essentially b/e) Was live for 5 hours, and resulted in a breakeven day. Yes… that means I was on the charts for 5 hours and made $0 today. And guess what, I am totally happy! Why? Because I followed me approach. Some days will be easy, some days will require more discipline. Onto tomorrow.
