@ShannonGaitz I love your commentary Shannon but completely disagree on this. Jonathan played an outstanding season. He should have won. No question Aubry played a good game, but he was just better in every aspect, used/sacrificed his allies perfectly and won immunities when he needed to

@DavzyF Ok but if the other players, the ones who vote for the winner don't care, then how is it a good move? There's not an objective scoring system, you have to read what the players around with will value and act accordingly...

@FiamLiler They just didn't care because they were biased. You're right.

@DavzyF But you're just watching an edited TV show? You can't vote on that, it's literally edited knowing the outcome... They make Jonathan look more impressive so you think he can win so there's some drama. Also the bitterness and the emotions are literally part of the game.

@FiamLiler Infact I'll take it more seriously because he made the statement after seeing everyone's game play out from home. It's better than reacting out there in the jungle or making decisions out of spite. Vital moves get lost in the tribe swap, fatigue...e.t.c.

@DavzyF I'm not even convinced an unbias opinion exists. Isn't that just a complete contradiction in terms?

@FiamLiler They are very much allowed to have opinions, it just shouldn't be a biased one.

@DavzyF What's the bias? That they like Aubry more and would rather give her $2m? Have you seen Survivor before? All Stars, Samoa, HvV, 43, Edge of Extinction? Being liked by the jury is basically the whole game.

@DavzyF Aubry has multiple confessionals and interviews where she says she learned this lesson and applied it differently to 50. She managed her threat level, she sat by the right people and she won. Is it flashy? No. But you can't say it wasn't intentional or effective.

@DavzyF You talk about the jury like they don't matter. They're the whole game. It's literally the story of the season. Aubry was the dominant strategist of KR and lost to Michele because Aubry misread how the jury would vote and sat next to the wrong people.

@DavzyF Ok but all the people there who actually experienced it do not agree with you. They either don't think it was his move, or they simply don't care.

@FiamLiler Like I said previously, allies come and go on Survivor. Fairplay to Rick for taking advantage of the situation. But he got Ozzy out in the end, ruined Cirie's game while at it, and earned what should have been a deserved win.

@DavzyF Something he said to Jonathan months later, just after Jonathan lost? You can't take anything like that seriously once they've seen an edited TV show and a year has passed...

@FiamLiler Ozzy himself eventually admitted he should have voted for Jonathan to win.

@DavzyF You seem to think there's some objective strategy that scores points, and the jury should just count the score, rather than have any opinions on giving someone $2m.

@DavzyF "Jonathan was only losing to Cirie and Rick". He literally did lose to Aubry??? She always had those friends on the jury, that's the game?! He said that he HAD to get Tiff out or she would win.

@DavzyF And him "leading the charge" is what got his closest ally in Steph voted out, because he completely fumbled it.

@FiamLiler We keep going back to the same point. The moment Jonathan said he was leading the charge against Ozzy before Stephanie, it was clear whose move it was. But the bitterness and bias against him was never going to let them see what was obvious.

@DavzyF Then Jonathan made a bad move, putting someone on the jury that would never vote for him? Also you're just making things up, there's no actual evidence that Ozzy was overwhelmed by bitterness, other than your assertion.

@FiamLiler @ShannonGaitz @JayInOakville LOL. That was bitter Ozzy speaking. Ozzy didn't get played by Aubry. She only spilled a secret he told her ahead of her "exit." He was hurt by Jonathan because he trusted him and got bitter. That bitterness is the evidence. It was going to be anyone but Jonathan.

@DavzyF From final 7 Aubry can beat everyone except Rick and Cirie, both of whom she knows everyone will be on board to vote out. Jonathan can ONLY win against Joe and Rizo (and candidly I don't know that he gets 6 votes against Rizo). That's a badly set up end game.

@DavzyF Aubry, Rizo and Jonathan can all claim that move on Ozzy. Ultimately if you can't convince the jury that it was your move and it singularly benefits you more than anyone else, it's not much of a move.

@DavzyF @ShannonGaitz @JayInOakville How can you say that so confidently? Ozzy literally sat there and called Aubry's game masterful. Where is the evidence, other than your opinion, that the jury believed Jonathan played a better game?

@FiamLiler @ShannonGaitz @JayInOakville They definitely think it was inferior. Bitterness, friendships and previous seasons' sentiments aside, there's no way they thought Aubry played a superior game compared to Jonathan.

@DavzyF @ShannonGaitz @JayInOakville BUT THEY DON'T THINK IT WAS INFERIOR. She knew how to get to the end with people she could beat. She would have beaten any configuration of that final four without Tiff (and may even have beaten her). From final 7 he had ONE winning combo.
