A web page for the current status of your Fidelity Trader+ app would be nice. I shouldn't have to call in to see why the app is not starting and should not have to attempt logins throughout the day to see if you corrected the problem, e.g., today's outage on apple platforms.

Hi, Erik. The fee only applies when purchasing an ETF identified on the Service Fee Eligible ETF list, regardless of when the position was originally established. There is no fee for shares purchased through dividend reinvestments or recurring scheduled investment plans, no ongoing fee to hold the ETF, and no charge for shares you already own. If applicable, the fee will be clearly disclosed as a trade warning and on the trade confirmation. You can view the status of impacted ETFs via the link below. @Fidelity needs to be reminded of their policies & the law every #401k #IRA & #retirementsavings plans through employers have withdrawal for cash options at any moment not having an option in case of an emergency is #illegal #Fidelity how many people have had this happen to them

Imagine waking up to this message from @Fidelity. Now imagine waking up to this hundreds of times over the course of 6 years. Here's what happened & why you should never ever trade options with Fidelity. I longed $SPX 15W spreads anticipating the spot will move to a strike that I believe will be very sticky. Once there, the momentum challenges the strike's large GEX/DEX wall. I believe spot will revert and then chop in that range due to dealer hedging, so I short the same number of 15W spreads with the same center when it was ITM by a few pts, creating a butterfly. I wait for a while to let theta burn away, and close the fly for a profit. Fidelity had issues with mid pricing so I had to cancel multiple times to get them all closed. Some went through during the process, so I had to adjust the trade multiple times. Fidelity's system flagged all short legs in the trade as naked, and instantly locked my account. Now my money is stuck. This is a well known problem at Fidelity and has been going on for at least 6 years. They have no way or no will to fix it, so I'm done being their customer and will move my money elsewhere. No matter how many free trades I get as a reimbursement for my troubles, it's not worth the hassle. Must give a shout out to @VolSignals for his courses on dealer hedging dynamics.

I spoke to a Fidelity representative today, on behalf of my uncle (dad's brother), who trades actively with Fidelity. My uncle uses Active Trader Pro, while only Trader Plus is being advertised as the future product. The @Fidelity representative told me that Active Trader Pro is no longer available for download. My uncle passed the phone to my Mom, who was able to get him to tell her how to get Active Trader Pro. I'm baffled as to why they would lie to me about this, as it seems un-responsible.
