Following a controlled sting operation at a guarding site, a Fidelity Services Group officer conducted a search on a subcontractor exiting the premises. During the search, several electrical items were found in the suspect’s possession. The suspect was arrested, and stolen items valued at approximately R35 000 were successfully recovered.

On 15 May, a Fidelity Services Group SSG employee was cleaning a room at The Cabanas Hotel when suspicious tablets and powder sachets were discovered in the bathroom. Security was immediately contacted, and upon further inspection the items were identified as Mandrax tablets, cocaine, and crystal meth. Security Management remained on site and waited for the guest to return, after which the suspect was arrested and handed over to South African Police Service for further investigation.

Fidelity #SecureFire firefighters responded to a residential structural fire in Kyalami alongside local municipal fire services. The fire is believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder. Firefighters worked quickly to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing further damage to the property. We urge residents to remain fire safety conscious when using gas appliances and cylinders in and around their homes.

A joint operation led to the recovery of a stolen Toyota Etios in Ntuzuma after Fidelity ADT SRU and security partners tracked the vehicle from KwaMashu. The suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot when they realised they were being cornered.
