💜 FIERCE Final Review Meeting successfully Completed! Last week, the FIERCE consortium met with our Project Officer and External Reviewer for the project’s Final Review Meeting.

⚡️ Their participation demonstrates how FIERCE’s research and feminist perspectives continue to inform debates on democracy, equality, and the rise of anti-gender backlash - ensuring that the project’s impact resonates well beyond its completion.

The workshop explored parallels between illiberal and reactionary movements in Europe and the Middle East, highlighting shared dynamics such as anti-gender and anti-feminist positions, religious and nativist agendas, and discourses of exclusion and inequality. ⬇️

Even as the FIERCE project comes to an end, our partners continue to disseminate research findings and contribute to ongoing discussions on gender, democracy, and reactionary politics across Europe and beyond.⬇️
