Brentford conceded vs Preston (1999), kicked off, and Paul Evans immediately smashed one from his own half into the net. Keeper absolutely stranded.

@paulgray74 I picked some last year and made my own pasta but the wife didn't trust my foraging skills. She was more than happy to drink the sloe gin though. Anyways I've got her a little present to keep her on her toes 😗

@jnc71 @Lionesses @FIFAWWC Every time we play Spain they look streets ahead but England find a way to win. Sooner or later we are going to get thumped. Having said that i think we lose under any other coach than Wiegman atm.

@AFowlerPhoto Probably every shop & pub on Main Street and a pub meal. Sometimes I have a wander up towards Penistone hill or further with the dogs if the shopping gets too much. Always meet loads of really good folk 👍

The first preview screening of Bruce Robinson's "Withnail & I" (1987) appeared to be a total disaster- the audience sat there stony-faced, never laughing once. It was only after the screening had concluded that a distraught Bruce Robinson discovered that the audience was comprised entirely of non-English speaking German tourists who were all staying at a hotel nearby. (Source: IMDb) P.S: On this day, 39 years ago, "Withnail & I" (1987) premiered in New York New Directors and New Films Festival, USA.

ℹ️ We know how frustrating potholes have been across Lancashire this winter. One of the wettest winters on record has really taken its toll on our roads, and we’re still working hard to repair them. With more than 30 crews out every day, we fixed the equivalent of nearly three football pitches in February alone. Thank you for your patience – and please keep reporting potholes at 👉 orlo.uk/cYHxm so we can prioritise repairs where they’re needed most.

London now has tens of thousands of bright green parakeets, spreading to new areas every year. They were never native to Britain. So how did they end up here? Most likely, they escaped or were released from captivity decades ago. Since then, they’ve adapted remarkably well to London’s parks and suburbs, helped by mild winters and abundant food. To some, they add colour and character to the city, to others, they are seen as an invasive species. Have they reached your area yet?
