I congratulated the Prime Minister of the Netherlands @MinPres, Rob Jetten, on taking office and wished him success and decisive steps. We are grateful to the Netherlands and the Dutch people for their strong support for Ukraine from the very beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. We discussed Ukraine’s most urgent needs – missiles for air defense systems and energy equipment. We are thankful that, as always, we can count on the support of the Netherlands and its help in protecting lives. We also spoke about negotiations to achieve a dignified peace and the importance of security guarantees. I value the principled support for our positions and the readiness to help in every possible way. We agreed to meet soon and to work on projects that can strengthen our countries. I am grateful to the Prime Minister for his attention to Ukraine since the very first day of his tenure.

🚨 Videos don’t lie. So here is slow-motion footage shows ICE agents illegally detaining a U.S. citizen in Minneapolis… and shooting her as she tries to drive away. Watch closely: she never drove toward an agent. The agents attempted to aggressively force her out of her car illegally, even though she wasn’t blocking traffic… in fact, she was letting cars pass. When she reversed to avoid them, she turned her wheels away from the agent in front of her. One agent then leaned over the front of her car with his gun drawn… he begins slipping on ice as she tries to drive forward, possibly being the cause of the first shot being fired. • First shot: fired while his feet were on the side of her car, slipping on ice. • Second shot: fired when the car was nowhere near him. • Final shot: fired as she was already driving away. She never tried to hit anyone. She was turning away the entire time. They shot her because she was trying to drive away from an unlawful detention. And this isn’t the first time ICE has used deadly force against someone simply for drive away. It’s just the first time we have video evidence. This is why filming ICE is crucial… and why they don’t want you to. This abuse has to end, now. How many more people will have to die before the government stops ICE from illegally detaining, assaulting, and shooting U.S. citizens?

This is a sensitive issue, with a great deal of quiet diplomatic work underway.
