@SrrLemur @ManUtdTobbe @McBrideAce @Sorare @ni2las True but then the cards remain ingame and it has no impact on the market. One challenge is that too many team have similar 5 players. A burn mechanism would also help to get some cards rare again. But as I said...just an idea and needs to build it properly...maybe it is stupid..

My thoughts on @sorare at the moment. A mega thread. Apologies for making it a mega thread. I don't have a medium account and since everyone at #sorare seems to be burying their head in the sand rather than choosing to engage with users I am tagging @ni2las aswell in the hope that someone actually get's their finger out and starts listening to users rather than thinking about the next scheme to sell more in season cards. thoughts below, as always with some thoughts on what would be solutions rather than just making suggestions without any solutions

@ManUtdTobbe @McBrideAce @Fifantastic__ @Sorare @ni2las Exactly. The burn mechanism is classic. It burns away some utility after 1 year. And then it totally burns when a player retires. People are so unhinged these days.

@VladouTrading A lot of those users lost money because of shortterm adjustements. It is no reason to just rant because of that. But as sorare would love users to understand their strategy, they could also try to understand the users perspective. Otherwise I totally agree with your points

@VladouTrading I think there is also one fair point to the ranting users ( I am never a fan of ranting without giving a solution/suggestion too). But a lot of OG users spent a lot of money on sorare what also is a huge reason why sorare is the company/game they are today. (1/2)

I don’t wanna go in and out commenting the current situation so I ll just say this. Nothing new. Sorare is a game where most users enjoy their money spent, rewarding or not, giving an addition fun to their weekly football passion. Twitter, X, reactions are mostly overreactions about either you re feeling really good or really bad with the game at a define moment. Or in life in general. Adrenaline’s given at the beginning of the season is always high, whether it is @Sorare or @OfficialFPL. This year, Sorare reached, to me, an all time high with the really interesting In Season mode & the Early Access + Animated animations on the cards. Most important, it found a sustainable model, with In Season, that allows the investors, giving the success of this new model, to let the team breath & think about new ideas to make this game even better. It needs time. While things such as Essence nerf did not need time to be changed (& it was announced first day that it was new, needed to be tested, & adjusted). Not saying everything has been done right, but is understandable. Problem is that some users, that we see a lot on social media as X, Twitter, most OG users, are not thinking in a long term manner, like sorare employees are. It is also understandable. Constructive feedback as @McBrideAce do or pure analysis from @mpenn_10 are really important. They are following every aspect of the game & feedbacks, and those one are important for you & for the company itself. Of course they want their own success, but they also want their users to thrive ! It’s not an easy way. But constant ranting from a lot of users, haters, that I will lot name, are inefficient for SoRare or for themselves. If the game becomes such a burden for them, then just go, breath out & find something else to do. This, I will never understand. Always blame the others, never understand why some issues are adressed the other way u wanted to, never take accountability for your decisions. But, indeed, as any games, it can be meliorated, & feedbacks is important ! So please, yes, show it out, but for god sake don’t be a blind hater if you want to be appart of a sustainable project. Otherwise just leave if you don’t believe in it ! Changes can’t be made in a matter of weeks just because @MyDivineVenom says In Season model is shit & un useful or that @mypenisishard says that « they are scammers & want all for themselves 😡😡 »

@McBrideAce @Sorare @ni2las And 1 more solution to make tier 4-5 cards usuable is a burn system. Maybe limited to 1 every 2 month or kind of. For example burn 300 Limited cards to get a star card. or 50 to get a tier 3 card (numbers are just examples and not calculated what would fit best). (1/2)

@McBrideAce @Sorare @ni2las I mesn there are too many useless cards and collections are only for % and don't have any other function. With the burning mechanism like SBCs in FIFA you could get rid of loads of cards and make the demand again. (2/2)
