Softball beats N.C Wesleyan in the first round of the @usa_south Softball four-team double elimination tournament. Molly Thompson went 3-for-3 with a triple, and a walk and Emily McCreery secured the win on the mound with a complete game. The team will face Greensboro at 2:00pm

Congratulations to Hadley May who earned @usa_south First-Team All-Conference Honors! The MBU catcher ranked among the conference leaders in several offensive categories. She was first overall with a.802 slugging percentage and tied for the conference lead in homers with nine.

Congratulations to Allison Crum who earned @usa_south First-Team All-Conference Honors! Crum took one of the three outfield spots on the first team with a .375 batting average, the eighth highest mark in the conference. She ranked No. 5 in the conference with 10 doubles.

Congratulations to Trinity Thomas who earned the @usa_south Athletic Conference Softball Rookie of the Year! Thomas, who was also named to the all-conference second team at second base, hit for a .323 average in 33 games during her first season with the Squirrels.

Congratulations to Josh Lallo who earned @usa_south Second-Team All-Conference Honors! Lallo is the first all-conference selection in program history. Lallo, a grad student playing his first season at Mary Baldwin, hit for a .343 average with 14 RBIs and a team-best five homers.

Women's Tennis travels to Southern Virginia University for a 1st round USA South Playoff matchup.

Congratulations to Trinity Thomas who won USA South Softball Rookie of the Week. The freshman infielder from Waynesboro, Virginia was a combined 10-for-15 (..667) with a .667 on-base percentage and a .733 slugging percentage to go along with two runs scored, one run batted in.
