Nurses see the dangers of unsafe staffing, rushed discharges, and complex care pushed onto families without training. Sign the petition to stop Home at Home proposal that threatens quality care! bit.ly/dontleavepatie…

Councilmember Shekar Krishnan has been a powerful progressive voice for Queens, fighting for working families, immigrant communities, tenants, street vendors, drivers, and the public spaces our neighborhoods deserve. I’ve been proud to stand alongside him in the fight for equity and civil rights—most recently at my press conference to end caste discrimination. On issues that matter deeply to our communities, Shekar has shown what it means to lead with courage, accountability, and real commitment to justice. Here’s what he shared in support of our campaign: “Steven Raga is exactly the kind of leader our communities need right now—grounded in service, responsive to working families, and deeply committed to equity. I’ve seen firsthand his ability to deliver for constituents, from expanding access to essential services to fighting for more inclusive, affordable neighborhoods. Steven brings both heart and results to public service, and I’m proud to support him.” I’m deeply grateful to have Councilmember Shekar Krishnan’s endorsement in this campaign for State Senate District 12, and proud to keep building alongside leaders who show up for Queens every day.

The NYC hotel industry is launching a $500k ad campaign ahead of their contract expiring with our union. A representative for the hotel industry reportedly “raged” over our “cushy” union contract in an attempt to build sympathy for billionaire hotel owners and international corporations. The truth? Nothing about hotel work is cushy. It's back-breaking work, done by hardworking New Yorkers who are trying to survive in an unaffordable city. SupportHotelWorkers.com
