I get it. And thank bejesus for rental management companies. We’ve been with ours for 14 years and only banned one renter (they trashed the house and caused significant damage -I was pissed). I genuinely found my tribe south of buxton. Ocracoke reminds me of Port St Joe (FL) folks are incredibly laidback & it’s honestly a hidden gem of the barrier islands. Especially in the fall. The water is so green & the Ocean is incredibly warm all the way to Gobble Gobble day😂

I am going on 47+ days on the Island -I wasn’t joking that I would not be returning to the DC Beltway until after Memorial Day. I may have to fly from ORF to IAD next week. But it will only be 36 hours (mainly to check on the kiddo and to calm an increasingly nervous client. It’s the 1st time in almost 2 decades I wasn’t holding their hand through the VA GA condensed legislative session. They offered to send a plane to the Island and I declined because it was an insane cost. And reminded them I migrated the contract from FFP to T&M which means I intentionally quadrupled my hourly rate.😂

when I say today’s sunrise was breathtaking -this is what it looked like at 5:53AM. By 6:03AM the reds gave way to both pinks & purples I’m still processing those videos. 8K take up an insane amount of data/memory. Camera currently states 2 hours & 46 minutes to download 🙄
