When I first saw Mel a few weeks ago I was completely baffled that this champion was even released in the first place. > damage immunity > reflect projectiles (hard cc, ultimates, anything) > insane range > low cooldowns > hard cc When you give someone who's constantly thirty yards away from opponents the ability to also REFLECT and NEGATE abilities it's just awful design. Mel was clearly made to be low skill for the people they thought would start playing league after Arcane. Her winrate is dogshit and they're still gutting her which is just a testament to how toxic her current rendition is. Also hot take: If anyone should've gotten Mel's W it should've been someone like Vex. A squishy character who has to put herself in melee range to fully use her kit and has virtually no escape. Not in a 900 range artillery mage who has to only use it in the VERY rare cases the player was too busy texting their parents about dinner during a team fight. Absolute rat champion man
