@FilmFileUK I adore Get Smart - shouldn't work but does beautifully The Fugitive The first Scooby Doo film hit the tone, and the villain, perfectly Edge of Darkness was an abomination

Which TV shows that were remade and recast for a film adaptation worked well, and which ones sadly missed the mark? Two examples: Miami Vice was great, but CHiPS was dreadful. #QuestionOfTheWeek

What geek stuff is the pride of your collection? Something rare, or just something that has deeper meaning to you? What collectibles or memorabilia do you love owning?

We can't believe that Arachnophobia was released in 1990 as we explore it for our Deep Dive this week to see if it still holds up. In the main reviews Andy checked out Arco, and How To Make A Killing, and we both talk about Train Dreams. open.spotify.com/episode/1rXOaA…

What are your favourite post apocalyptic futures shown in films, be it dystopian, desolate, or utopian? For me, it is the future vision we see in the classic Logan's Run. #film #QuestionOfTheWeek

The 1998 disaster movie about a comet heading to earth is our Deep Dive this week... no, not that one, but the lesser seen Deep Impact. Find out why we prefer it to Bay's release. In the reviews Andy checked out The Bluff, and, of course, Scream 7. open.spotify.com/episode/0D3hxh…

What are your favourite on screen spaceships and what makes them stand out? For me, The Millennium Falcon will always take the crown. It's clumsy looking, unique in design (despite being a stock freighter), and still manages to look slick and sleek in tense situations.

@FilmFileUK Oh no 😬 at least you got to see it. Weird how certain memories stick with you isn't it. There was a little kiosk selling Poppets in a little cardboard box. The old Palace cinema here in Tamworth is still standing but probably a shell of what it was.

Have you got any positive stories of going to the cinema - a memory of a visit that has importance to you, even if the film wasn’t that good! Something about that trip holds a special memory for you.

@misskristinruth Those days of queues around the block, and hoping you were in the right one! I remember seeing Police Academy 2 with my sisters, and being in the wrong queue for at least half an hour before we realised. Just made it into the film as it started.

@FilmFileUK Absolutely! 10th Birthday treat to see ET. I remember the excitement of being in a crowd to watch this film - the queue snaking past the local nightclub. This was before the time of multi screens too. And a break an hour in for ice creams.

What movie character would you like to hang out with, and what would you choose as the activity? Maybe go bowling with The Dude, or have a fight with Tyler Durden (weird, I know)?
