Teacher transfers disrupted film club continuity in January. In response, FilmAid Kenya conducted a 3-day Refresher ToT for 11 teachers, focusing on photography, camera operations & storytelling. Ensuring learners continue receiving consistent media mentorship. #FilmClubs

We celebrate the #worldradioday2026 with our very own radio station @reffmkkradio In the refugee camps, Radio is used to pass messages to refugees. Ref FM has a team of multilingual journalists and media personalities who engage the community and offer cultural convergence

FilmAid Kenya is proud to present FilmIt Media that was founded by our media training alumni Steve Kiza. Thanks to @goldenglobefoudation many refugees have the skills to develop their careers and start their own businesses which is the first step to independence and self-reliance

FilmAid Kenya's partnership with @reffmkkradio provides lifesaving information to refugees and host communities in Kakuma and Kalobeyei. This radio promotes social cohesion by offering a chance for cultural representation and convergence through music, talkshows and podcasts.

Through our partnership with the @goldenglobefdn, FilmAid Kenya is equipping youth in Kakuma with professional multimedia skills. 📽️ ​Whether they’re becoming contracted pros or launching their own studios, these graduates are rewriting their futures through film.

How do you build a safe space for a child? Our team kicked off 2026 with @UNICEFKenya's "Take 5" training—a wholesome journey of play, mental well-being, and growth. 📽️✨ We're now equiped to bring these skills from trainers @WavesforChange to the heart of our communities.

As the #16Days campaign begins, we stand with communities to protect women and girls, including refugees. Protecting them cannot wait for one campaign. Online abuse is real violence. Let’s stand against it every day.
