Update on Evacuation from South Africa. More than 800 Ghanaians have registered to be evacuated; Senior Government Officials on both sides engaging on South African legal conditions, passenger screening, managing the high numbers and multi-institutional coordination as we work on a new date for the evacuation.
The fact that there are sectors in which majority of the workforce is foreigners is an indictment on Employment & Labour. It is this failure that allows capital to exploit the foreign nationals and sideline South Africans thus creating a conflict in the communities.
Ghana arranged an evacuation flight ✈️ from South Africa to Ghana and only ONE person showed up at OR Tambo International Airport.🙆🏼♀️
